In Summer 2019 the italian Vice-Premier Matteo Salvini wanted to dissolve the government officially because of an argument on an trail-rail consturction project and in reality because he wanted to take the position of Premier Guiseppe Conte. In 2021 the former Premier Matteo Renzi through Italy in a political crisis. It was the second time during the same legislature since the elections in 2018. Renzi said it was for the good of the italian people, that he blew up the government. Renzi’s argument with Conte on the recovery programm and the following consequence to quit his support to the government was, in my opinion, totally inappropriate. To emphasize, in the middle of an catastrophic pandemic with more than 80.000 death in Italy alone, there are no good reasons for a political crisis or even paralysed leadership. The quarrels in the left spectrum of the italian parliament are by the way the principal reason why the left has lost half of its electors in a few years. Renzi should meditate on his arrogant behaviour before ruining everything, like he did 2016 by transforming a reasonable referendum into a suicide job against himself.
The actual government is supported by four left-wing parties. The socialists, the socialdemocrats of the PD, the leftpopulists of the 5-Star-Movement and Renzi’s Party had to be disciplined and coherend to form and maintain a government . And now Renzi’s little party dissolved the governemnt because of trivial disagreements. This idiocies of arrogant left-wings politicians brought to power the ludicrous Premier Silvio Berlusconi and the racist Vice-Premier Matteo Salvini. The left-wing parties should unite and form an broader front and so hold the houses of parliament through unity despite powermongering of the (neo- and ultra-)nationalist parties. Furthermore, every minister who incite an unnessesary insurrection against his own government in the midst of an economic, sanitary or other crisis should be impeached by the parliament. The two Matteos made selfish and stupid-as-shit descisions, which really sabotaged the political programms they claimed to do for the good of the italian people.
If Conte steps down, he should name the italian people’s assembly its sucessor, or at least an new democratically elected non-partisan smaller assembly, so that ministers who cannot agree on anything and erode the italian democracy by their meaningless disputes, leave the italian citizens or their impartial representatives take the important descisions. Also, the parliaments should get rid of the quarrelsome smallest parties in the parliament, who, exept for +Europa form Emma Bonino, are blocking permanently the political process. These small toddlers should be also sanctionned for sabotaging vital programms. Finally, it is a good idea to reduce the number of members of the italian parliament by sorting out a third of the parliament, as it was decided through referendum in September 2020. The small parties should be santionned to mess everything up, while being paid by the citizens they fooled and afterwards pretend that nothing happened, like these two arrogant Matteos. These should work hard before sacking the state’s treasury.
