Russia’s Regime between Alexander and Alexey

If I understand the ideology of Alexander Dugin correctly, its is build on six postulates I wrote below and it promotes a kind of neofascism. Dugin is one of the most influential nationalist thinkers in Europe.

The Six Postulates

  1. Nationality is the Essence of an Individual.
  1. Culture is the Essence of a nation.

3.      Tradition is the essence of culture.

4.      Authority should protect tradition.

5.      Stricts hierarchy enforce authority.

6.      A national leader should be all-powerfull, akin to the russian tradition.

Democracy is build on general consensus. Dictatorship on the dictate from the top. In Putin’s system, democracy is limited to the clientel’s acquiescence of a permanent and unchecked authority. Therefore, Dugin is seen as an “idea giver”  of the russian regime. The happiness of the masses and elites are important to keep the clientel large. The unhappiness in Russia’s population in the years 2020 and 2021 is growing, but the pluto-oligarchic elites are sticking with Putin. The Russian President and his Clique on the top of the politics and economy are imperialists who cannot exist without a growing influence, nationally and internationally. Maybe new oligarchs should support Putin’s opponents like Alexey Navalney if they want progress in Russia.
