Umbria is a montagnious region in central Italy not far from Rome and home to many christian saints‘ santuaries. These are for example those of St. Francis, St. Clare, St. Benedict, St. Rita and St. Valentine. This gives Umbria a taste of mysthicism. Many pilgrims search there spiritual experiences. Beside meditation there is also much to discover about the live of these notable saints and their home region of Umbria.
