The legislative key achievements of U.S. president Joseph Robinette Biden Junior during his four-year-term surpassed the one of many two-terms-administrations in the post-WWII history of U.S.-America.

Thanks to his response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, he accelerated the vaccine rollout, leading to widespread vaccination across the U.S. – implemented the American Rescue Plan, which provided economic relief to individuals, businesses, and local governments impacted by the pandemic.

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act nearly redefined infrastructure allocating $1.2 trillion to improve roads, bridges, public transit, broadband internet, and other critical infrastructure.

Under the G7 the USA achieved a notable job growth and reduction in unemployment rates as well as in inflation as the country recovered from the pandemic. Through the expanded Child Tax Credit child poverty was reduced significantly.

President Biden Rejoined the Paris Agreement to combat climate change and passed significant climate provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act to promote clean energy and reduce carbon emissions.

The Affordable Care Act was also strenghthened by increasing subsidies to make health insurance more affordable for Americans.

Appointed Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, Biden made her the first Black woman to serve as a Supreme Court Justice. Also he passed several measures aimed at promoting racial equity and justice.

President Biden even enacted several (and historically rarely succesful) gun control executive orders aiming at addressing gun violence, including regulations on ghost guns and red flag laws the lawmaking process result and was quite sucessful.

As commander-in-chief of the U.S. army, Biden also strengthened alliances with NATO and other international partners and showed his unweavering support to the Ukrainian people, contributing massivly to its defence, so that he could resist years of Russian agression. The bills he signed gave the Ukrainian territorial defence forces the power to slow down their Kharkiv offensive, while Ukrainian diplomats began fostering global peace summits, aiming to end the Russo-Ukrainian war.

It shall not be forgotten, that president Biden maybe could do all these laws, not despite, but thanks to his old age and his decades of experiences, especially his wide knowledge in foreign politics. Biden built bridges in U.S. America and on the Atlantic Ocean. The world is entering a new era; the end of Joe Biden’s presidency may be the end of America’s world order. If the upcomming multipolar world order shall be more peacefull, this another question.
