Tartary: The Secret History

The cryptic origines

Very few is known about the peoples who founded the empire. The tartars had themselves many (contradictory) legends. One of them is the legend of the war of foundation, which statutes that Tartarian tribes fought side-by-side against „Witcher-Kings of Hyperborea“. After the final defeat of Hyperborea the tribal leaders decreeded to abolish „Wicca Magika“ a powerful kind of magic which could be used in battle. There are therefore some tips that the government of this state was maybe during the 12th and 13th centuries actually not even a monarchy, but a trial confederacy. Many Tartar tribes seem to be homogenous in case of tribal governance and semi-nomadic lifestyle, but heterogenous in cultural perspectives.

On racial and religious diversity in the Tartarian Empire

The Empire of Grand Tartary was a very advanced Empire, not only during the middle-ages – when it was founded – but also during the renaissance up until to the Bolshevik Revolution. From the beginning on Grand Tartary had official languages from different language families, while having no official state’s religion and more than 500 ethnic groups from different origins from Eurasia. It is said that the Founding fathers’ lectures about Tartarian architecture plans and fundamental laws hugely influenced the birth and early era of the United States of America.

Destroyed evidence and scarcity of the sources

Stalinist and Maoist communists attacked and destroyed the last remnants of the Tartarian Empire during the middle of the twentieth century. These totalitarians even tried to wipe out the proves of its existence in written sources and inscriptions. The red armies took advantage of the Tartars after unfortunate events occurred to their commonwealth like the mudslide cataclysm or the asteroid impact. Hopefully travel reports of Marco Polo written in his “Book of Marvels” and maps from the early modern period unmistakenly prove the existence of a tremendous empire neighboring tsarist Russia and China of the Ming and Qing dynasty periods. Persia and the Indian princedoms before the coming of the British were most likely tributary or vassalized states of Grand Tartary.

Forgotten empire

After World War One the interests in Grand Tartary declined while many countries were distracted by their internal affairs, quelling communist agitators or even fighting such insurgencies. Communist revolutions and civil war where communists came out victorious led to the decline and fall of the Tartarian Empire. The communist Tudeh party was on the brink to take power in Iran in 1953 but was prevented by the CIA informed through emigrated Tartars in Iran. These now “Iranian” Tartars are the last known descendants of their old civilization. Most of these “Iranian” Tartars left Iran after the Islamic Revolution of 1979. With this diaspora came also a last bit of rare manuscripts – some are even hundreds of years old – which describe near the full history of Grand Tartary.
